2) Progression of Development Toward Theme: My images contribute to the development toward my theme because it acknowledges that children are the significant others who redefine our past accomplishments and guide us through to rediscover our past dreams to recapture our inner child. The Hide and Seek event with the plush toys are used to progress toward the development as it adds a bit of detail to how children act to incorporate happiness in their lives. In addition, the image captures how we should be as it is surely to lead to better days if we just believe that this is what used to define us.

Love and War on the Battlefield

2) Progression of Development Toward Theme: My images contribute to the development of the theme because it allows the viewer to see how a child's mind reacts to such devastating events and the importances of a child's actions and how in all of us, there is still a childly essence within us. In addition, these certain events strongly capture on how our development of our character is built through the actions we make during these events. My idea has still not changed as I still want to concentrate on the actions that children make through their environments by both reality and life-like figurines.
DANGER!

1) Central Idea of Photo: The central idea that I was attempting to emphasize on was to portray how children always have the time of the lives, living in the moment without realizing their consequences with no worries whatsoever. Instead, they focus on having huge amounts of fun without worrying what is ahead of their lives, which is quite stupendous. The Mickey Mouse figurine portrays the child's standpoint on their actions as his worried face emphasizes on the child's result from not thinking about what they're acting upon while the alligator is the danger that strikes them in the future without any hesitation. I added the car and the sandwich just to add more of a better effect toward the environment. The water is used to represent the body of water like a sewer or an estuary that steals away their lives as they begin to lose their child-like image. This time, I wanted to illustrate how children are dramatized by the intense consequences they face through life that cause them to act differently in the future, as this instance, it would be the after effect of their actions. Nonetheless, I also want to portray that being a child is breathtaking as we get to experience the world through trust and happiness.
2) Progression of Development Toward Theme:My images contribute to the development of the theme because it emphasizes on children and their perspectives on life as they forego an everlasting yet deceiving world, however, at the end of the day, children always develop trust. This is what I wanted to show toward my theme. I wanted to utilize on the dim lighting to show how the consequences are dire, however, as children we still attempt to look on the positive sides. As always, I still believe I need to reach my full potential toward my theme as it still has a lot of weak points.

Teddy Gram Mushroom Village
1) Central Idea of Photo: The central idea that I was trying to focus on was to portray that children can be united as they begin to converge with one another within a playground or an area where they can enjoy themselves, hence the "mushroom village." Even though sometimes, children may feel left out, there's always a group of people that they can play with and feel like they can be themselves as they have the moment of their lives. The teddy grams are being used to represent the children that are united through a certain hobby they enjoy to do such as exploring while the mushroom village is the area where they believe they can go to spend time with one another, expressing themselves through body language as they show true happiness. I want to illustrate how children are affected by today's society as they try to fit in with what's "hot", but there are a few children that are left out from this horrifying trend as they're forced as outcasts. However, I want to portray that no matter who you are, they'll always be someone that you can be with where you can completely show who you truly are.
2) Progression of Development Toward Theme: My images contribute to the development of the theme because it still brings upon how children are affected through their environment or the people they spend time with. Children are young people who are affected by their peers as they attempt to be like them, however these children don't realize that if you be yourself, that's already great enough. This time, I attempted to use some lighting to emphasize on the teddy grams to show their contentment through their newfound playground. Yet again, I haven't reached the full potential of my theme, I still need to develop more ideas on to portray the true meaning of how children are affected by their environment in order to demonstrate a child's life.

Legos!

1) Central Idea of Photo: The central idea that I was trying to emphasize on was how children are affected by their surroundings. Since children are felt left out from the rest of the society now as they feel like there are things missing in their life, they began to succumb to peer pressure such as drinking. The Buzz Lightyear Lego figurine is being utilized to represent a child's essence and the environment he is in is used to represent his loneliness. I want to portray that children are affected by peer pressure as they attempt to get "cool points" as they entrap themselves into a deadly lock which later results in their loss of innocence. I used the shallow depth of field to focus on the figure and emphasize on his "lost mentality as he begins to absorb in the dangerous effects of alcohol.
2) Progression of Development Toward Theme: My images contribute to the development of the theme because it brings upon a perspective of how children are truly affected by their peers due to their influences as they grow up. However, I feel like I haven't reached the full potential of grabbing the true essence of a child's influence or their actions toward their surroundings. My idea did change a bit because I switched to figurines to explain a child's life, but now I will try to utilize both of the conditions.
