Love and War on the Battlefield

1) Central Idea of Photo: The central idea that I wanted to focus on as children, we either have developed basic trust or mistrust, whereas in this case, this green figurine has developed the meaning of basic trust. The photo captures on the importance that children will always find a way to trust people as this figurine helps the wounded that lies on the battlefield, hopeless of living again. However, this green figurine attends to the wounds with medical attention. As the war prolongs, the figurine attempts to help his fallen comrade as his trust for him is very embracing. This attaches to the child mentality because when things began to fall apart, they still have hope and attempt to look brightly toward their future. Through the terrible events that occur on the battlefield, the green figurine still attempts to help which ties in toward a child's life as well. In this photo, I wanted to portray how a child's mind reacts to such events, even though it may seem devastating at a point, they develop an embracement on trust and forgiveness that allows them to be defined as children.
2) Progression of Development Toward Theme: My images contribute to the development of the theme because it allows the viewer to see how a child's mind reacts to such devastating events and the importances of a child's actions and how in all of us, there is still a childly essence within us. In addition, these certain events strongly capture on how our development of our character is built through the actions we make during these events. My idea has still not changed as I still want to concentrate on the actions that children make through their environments by both reality and life-like figurines.
