Hide & Seek.

1) Central Idea of Photo: The central idea that I wanted to focus on are the interesting things that children go through, the spectacular events that define them as children. Although I did not have children to portray this particular event, I attempted to capture it through plush toys. The plush toys are used to represent the children while the Charmander, the one on the left, is the child who is hiding from the seeker, Eevee. Children are significant people who we, as adults should begin to redevelop our inner child or at least help them strengthen their childhood. The Hide and Seek event is used to emphasize on the importance of who children are because these are one of the very games children play to develop their happiness. In addition, adults are never seen playing hide and seek, as children are the ones who define happiness, hope, and a sense of imagination as they find the quirkiest places to hide in, whether it may be in a trash bin or behind long strips of grass. Children are the future to our past dreams.
2) Progression of Development Toward Theme: My images contribute to the development toward my theme because it acknowledges that children are the significant others who redefine our past accomplishments and guide us through to rediscover our past dreams to recapture our inner child. The Hide and Seek event with the plush toys are used to progress toward the development as it adds a bit of detail to how children act to incorporate happiness in their lives. In addition, the image captures how we should be as it is surely to lead to better days if we just believe that this is what used to define us.
