Emotional Pictures for Digital Art

"Lost"
Reflection: Within the photo of "Lost", the quality of the picture is somewhat inadequate because I used a basic low-end digital camera. The objects that were used was an empty swimming pool that had murky water. The things around the water were ashes, they were used to make a more depressing photo. The objects appear to be at far away because I shot it at a distant. My work was portrayed as a figurative photo because it would put a more emotional touch if it was in a figurative aspect. There weren't much shapes that were captured in the photo but it did have a darkish tone to portray a saddening appearance. The image wasn't in focus because of the camera, it wasn't able to capture a picture in good quality. The work was done accidentally, however I feel content as it turned out somewhat efficient. The image was dark because it was supposed to portray how lonely the person is feeling and how that person is unable to fit with the rest of the crowd because he's lost. The photo was also taken outdoors because indoors wouldn't really be able to capture this type of emotion, while on the other hand outdoors could provide a good understanding. I don't believe this photo was successful because I didn't have enough tones or shapes to make the photo worthwhile to see. Nonetheless the photo didn't have the right amount of emotion for someone to stare and look at the photo long enough.
