Teddy Gram Mushroom Village

1) Central Idea of Photo: The central idea that I was trying to focus on was to portray that children can be united as they begin to converge with one another within a playground or an area where they can enjoy themselves, hence the "mushroom village." Even though sometimes, children may feel left out, there's always a group of people that they can play with and feel like they can be themselves as they have the moment of their lives. The teddy grams are being used to represent the children that are united through a certain hobby they enjoy to do such as exploring while the mushroom village is the area where they believe they can go to spend time with one another, expressing themselves through body language as they show true happiness. I want to illustrate how children are affected by today's society as they try to fit in with what's "hot", but there are a few children that are left out from this horrifying trend as they're forced as outcasts. However, I want to portray that no matter who you are, they'll always be someone that you can be with where you can completely show who you truly are.
2) Progression of Development Toward Theme: My images contribute to the development of the theme because it still brings upon how children are affected through their environment or the people they spend time with. Children are young people who are affected by their peers as they attempt to be like them, however these children don't realize that if you be yourself, that's already great enough. This time, I attempted to use some lighting to emphasize on the teddy grams to show their contentment through their newfound playground.  Yet again, I haven't reached the full potential of my theme, I still need to develop more ideas on to portray the true meaning of how children are affected by their environment in order to demonstrate a child's life.
